One of my favorite lunch spots on a recent trip to DC.

I love this place but unfortunately due to poor management I will not return during lunch. The strip on my card could not be read therefore the cashier had to hold the line up about 15 minutes waiting for a manager to come and manually input my card. No other customers could be served since my order was already in the system. The cashier could not void out my order and continue to serve other customers because that required a manager as well.

When I went in there the guy working behind the counter was very helpful. I got the Chicken Cobb Salad. He was very good and very neat with my salad. I convinced my coworker to get a salad as well.

I love the salads here but please be cautious if you are vegetarian. They have put chicken in my salad twice (in salads that don’t even have any meat included in the ingredients - for example the kale Caesar) when i never asked for any. Had to throw the salad away both times. Don’t think I will be going anymore.

I ordered online and . . .1. They don't tell you whether or not the dressing is spicy. I ordered Lonestar Ranch. Ranch is pretty mild so I assumed this was too. I can't eat it.2. Look at the pictures, the chicken and lettuce was not chopped right.3. Look at how much (little) chicken I got. So sad and so EXPENSIVE.

Don’t order through Seamless. I placed an order and had an estimated time of 40 minutes for delivery. I already know that this restaurant tends to be late with catering orders but when 1.5 hours had passed I called them to find out that my order hadn’t even been made. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has happened.

I'm okay with delivery estimates being a little off during peak order times, but these guys were about forty minutes late and didn't update me even once. When I called to ask about the delivery, they didn't seem to be too concerned about it. The salad I ordered was pretty good--not as good as Verde, but okay. The kicker,though, was when I got to the bottom of the salad bowl and found hairs in it. It was disgusting. I wish I'd paid attention to the other reviewer(s) who said the place wasn't clean. The other locations may be okay, but I will never order from this one again.

I love this place. The pasta dishes are fresh and delicious. You may add fresh ingredients of your choice so your dish is to your liking. There are long lines, but worth the wait. The staff was awesome. Great customer service. Enjoy!

Confusing line and menu but good food and decent pricing.

Tends to have longer lines but is a decent lunch place if you're looking for a few more vegetables in your meal. Although it's more of a lunch bowl with lots of different things in it than a traditional salad.

Hip place for salads. the employees were helpful and acommodating. I had the Destination Thailand salad which was ok. Gave you less salad for a $1+ more. I'd def go back and try something else!

I went to Chopt today for lunch, and I discovered a bug in my salad. The server Taunja was not apologetic at all. I will NEVER eat from this place again.

Chopt is awesome. I've been there a few times and it was wonderful. The menu is a little intimidating, but if you order one of their preconstructed salads, you'll be happy. Enjoy.

This salad shop is awesome my favorite shop,its a friendly clean atmosphere, you can create your own salad from a variety of veggies a few choices of meats also, stop by the nearest Chopt I promise you will be glad you did

You go to Chopt and you know ehar to get. Food is healthy and good. Not happy with the service. Talking to each other and not paying attention to the customers.

This is my go to lunch spot. I give it this rating because they always have huge lines around lunch time but you spend no more than 15 minutes in there max. They give you good salads with high quality ingredients, locally sourced if you're into that kinda thing. Never seen any attitude from anyone working there which means they gotta be doing something right. I get the Kale Caesar most of the time, plus hearts of palm. Always good.

Staff didn't know how to make a simple ceasar salad. Tried to make it made with Italian vinaigrette. When i asked for ceasar dressing was told they are out, after salad was made. Still wanted to make me pay for salad.

I love Chopt! Their salads are so delicious and the service is always so quick! They make waiting in line super efficient.

The ingredients here just don't taste fresh. The lettuce is on the verge of wilting, the ingredients taste like they were shipped in from somewhere far away, and the bread tastes like it was made and cut last week. I much prefer Sweetgreen.

This used to be my favorite place to eat at during my lunch break, however I am disappointed in the customer service at this specific location. A friend of mines ordered food for us online and upon receipt we found a critter in our salad. When we went to return the salad, the Chop’t Team Member was so unapologetic and nonchalant. I will never eat at this location again!

Extremely crowded at lunch hours but they have a nice system to handle it. Really good food.

Appealing to wanna be health freaks and following the 'green" and environmentally friendly trends, this place customizes your salad and slices it into tiny pieces for your eating pleasure. Though I'm not a huge salad person, this place was a pretty good deal as the bowl is good for at least 2 portions and 10 bucks is reasonable considering prices of produce in DC. The interior is hip and modern, fitting the stereotypical super-trendy green eatery. There's not much seating, so this location is ideal for workers nearby to grab lunch or dinner on a break. The salad you get is pretty much up to you, but I don't think I'll be eating here again because salad doesn't really constitute a satisfying meal for me and the ingredients weren't the best quality vegetables I've ever had. ~Sigh I've been spoiled by growing up in a farm town in California and getting fresh produce whenever I want

This place was great! Fresh salads made with fresh ingredients and served in bowls made in the US from recycled plastic bottles, Puck's soda fountain drinks, and friendly customer service! Wish we had a place like this in Alaska.

Usually not crowded after 3pm. Staff are great! Music rocks!!! They have shrimp unlike many MD locations.

Pretty quick to order and get out, food was good, a lot of choices.

Salad is always good here sometimes they are out of bread I look forward to that part so it's a bummer but other than that its cool.

Well first things first, I would give them zero stars if I could. I had a friend who had a bug in her food AND a lady named TAUNJA gave nonchalant customer service when my friend had told her what happened. I would not recommend anyone to go to this foolishness. You guys are better off at salad works.

Very disorganized line system and very little attention to detail. They just try to push you on through! Thumbs down

This location is packed during lunch time. I ordered one of their suggested salads and the preparer left off two out of the five ingredients on the salad so it ended up just being greens, grains and squash! Definitely not worth $11. The other location in DuPont is better, not as crowded, and actually fully chops your ingredients. There are too many better salads places in the area that this should be low on the list.

Love this place. Great selection, pretty quick service and yummy salads. Come before 11:30 am or order online to beat the lunchtime rush!

If you want to grab something healthy and tasty and fast, this is a good place to go. They don't have much place to seat and eat though. Specially in the busy hours. To be extra healthy (and hungry :) ) you can order everything without meat.

Had the Harvest warm bowl. Very good! A little bland, but very filling and the lemon vinaigrette was very tasty. The chicken was tender, meaty, and seasoned well. Would like more sweet potatoes next time I order from Chopt again.

Ordered my food over the phone for delivery and I never received it. Called to get a refund and was told by a manager that he would look into things and call me back...... I had to call him back. In the end I offered to the store and get cash just to make sure that I was refunded. First and last time ordering, never tried chop't and probably never will. At least not this location. Very disappointed.
